The Project
                                      The houses at this gated community are built by hand using the types of materials and methods that date back
to the time of early colonization. We have combined this approach with modern techniques to further enhance the quality of our homes.
The project integrates the interest of many foreign visitors to the area with the native
community by creating a living environment within the heart of the indigenous community of
El Batán. In Colonia El Batán, the richness of the Indigenous culture can be fully experienced.  
The cost per is astonishingly low in comparison to the prices of homes in the United States.
These homes are currently priced at $55 per square foot including the lot. All utilities are
underground and include:
  • public water,
  • electricity (220 kw),
  • individual septic tank
  • Internet,
  • cable and satellite TV are available.
The homes at Colonia El Batán are sized from 1,700 to 3,500 square feet on a quarter plus acre lots.
